Colour in interiors and architecture opens the door to experiences of unsuspected beauty and emotional nature. As a colour expert architect, my aim is to design with colour and to spread its use to create harmonious spaces that meet the most appropriate emotional conditions.
We are an Architecture and Interior Design studio specialised in advising companies, institutions and individuals in the optimisation of spaces through the use of colour.
We talk about, for example, creating environments that cooperate in healthcare spaces, establishing the environmental conditions that stimulate learning in educational spaces, or that favour communication and activate sales in commercial spaces. Colour modifies architecture and influences man both on a physical level (stress reduction) and on an emotional level (it favours certain emotions) and on a communicative level.
Our advice begins with the diagnosis and analysis of the spaces, and then we develop a proposal that is defined in a «colour project».
Architecture is not only the design and construction of buildings, dwellings, premises, etc. The architect is responsible for creating spaces where man can achieve his «well-being», which depends both on the «physical form» of the buildings and on the environmental conditions and those of his surroundings. In this field, colour plays a leading role.
Our studio offers companies, individuals and institutions a novel application of colour in architecture, based on in-depth academic and international research, based on the philosophy of art, the philosophy of perception, cognitive sciences, cognitive psychology and neuroscience.

Our professional practice of colour began more than 35 years ago. But understanding the influence that colour has on us is the result of research into the philosophy of perception, cognitive sciences, cognitive psychology and neuroscience.
Handling colour in interior design and architecture is a differential fact. As colour curious people or design and construction professionals, we know that colour is a rarely used and complicated medium. We will learn a practical method to move through the field of colour with criteria.
The Thesis presented at the Polytechnic University of Madrid, and the research theses at l’Ecole des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales in Paris and at the Department of Philosophy at Berkeley, University of California, govern my objective of applying the Enactive Theory of colour in public centres -health, educational, business, commercial, internment, etc- and in private architectures, always seeking the social purpose of colour.
